Small Group Trips
Packed buses, crowded sites and headphones on lanyards are NOT IT for us. Our groups host 8-12 travelers; a perfect energetic mix of people while remaining nimble enough to experience the country intimately and genuinely. You’ll have all the flexibility of independent travel with the reward (and cost-effectiveness) of joining a crew.
Chic Luxe
We call our travel style Chic Luxe because while we’re definitely known to get fancy, we’re as committed to showing you the most delicious street food as we are having white tablecloth dinners, ya feel? One moment you’ll be schmoozing in style, the next we’ll be bumping down an unpaved road to get to something spectacular around the bend. It’s all about balancing authenticity and flair for us!
Travelers, Not Tourists
Seeing Italy and experiencing Italy are two very different things. If you’re traveling with us, you’re probably craving the latter. We’re here to give you access you’d never get traveling solo, and to introduce you to the culture and country we adore in the most meaningful, memorable ways possible. That requires an open mind and willing spirit. It’ll sometimes be edgier than a touristy approach but the rewards are so much greater. Come curious and humble and you will leave satiated.

#SoloFemaleTravel is an incredible movement we’re proud to participate in. But not having a travel buddy doesn’t mean you have to go it completely alone. Our tours are about connecting like-minded women and creating shared memories. Maybe you’ll come with your sister, partner or friend. Or maybe you’ll come alone and leave with your new BFF.
We’re especially excited to highlight the local ladies excelling in all the things we love: from chefs to creatives, opera singers, winemakers and everyone in between, you won’t just meet fellow female travelers, you’ll meet le donne italiane we admire.

Travel is all about exploring and honoring our different environments and experiences. That is true of Stellavision as well.
All self-identifying women are welcome - and celebrated - here. We have a zero tolerance policy against discrimination of any kind. We firmly believe all bodies are beach bodies (and guess what - Italians do too.)
We can debate the best gelato flavour but agreeing with these statements is a precursor to joining a Stellavision Tour.
Sustainably Supporting Italy
We’re committed to conscientious travel. In nature we leave only footprints. In cities we support local and independent businesses. We’ll provide you with cultural context and language cues to thoughtfully immerse yourself in your environment.
Our tours are designed to provide our travelers with genuine experiences that are rooted in local communities - and support those communities in turn. It’s no secret that Italy was hit especially hard by the Covid-19 Pandemic and your travel dollars directly restore the tourism industry (and the local Italians who work in it) to well-being.
A donation on behalf of every 2021 Stellavision traveler is being made to Lucha y Siesta, a Rome-based women’s shelter & cultural center.

Picture this. You’re on the holiday of a lifetime. The ethereal light in the Venetian Lagoon moves you to your core. It’s a feeling you want to remember always. But your iPhone8 isn’t quite up to the job. You hear music, turn a cobble-stoned corner and a wizened old man dancing in a piazza extends a hand for you to join in (this has happened to us.) Do you capture the moment or live in the moment?

If you’re like us, beautiful memories of your trip are the ultimate souvenirs. So - a professional photographer accompanies each tour allowing you to enjoy your experience to the fullest and have the most incredible snapshots from your holiday as well. What you saw, ate, and experienced, as well as photos of you & your fellow travelers, will all be captured by an expert.
If you want to post in real time, we got you. Every night of your trip, you’ll be emailed a new album from the day’s adventures. For those who want to put their phone away and be in the moment? You’ll relive the magic whenever you decide to log on.
Please note: the photographer is there to capture the whole group’s experience, she is not your personal paparazzo. Your stunning face will appear in many candid photos and posed group shots over our time together. We'll also make sure everyone gets one individual posed photo moment over the course of the tour. Our photographers are outstanding and will use their expertise to choose just the right moment for that (aka there is no tapping her on the shoulder and requesting your close-up, please!) Alternatively, if you’re a little camera-shy, that’s no problem. Say the word and we’ll ensure you’re discretely included.
Our Founder’s Story
When I moved to Italy, I thought it was for one year of remote-working while I explored the country that had been calling to me since adolescence. And I found that I couldn’t leave. After living in the UK & North America, I was totally seduced by the spirit of a place that valued pleasure and personality over a professional pedigree. I found myself enraptured by small details - a wild parrot, the wax on a pear in a mercato stall - that I would never have noticed in my former life. Italy felt like my eyes were expanding and my lungs were drawing more breath. Plus, you know. The pasta.
Travel has always been the forward momentum in my life. And when that’s the case, not having the same holiday budget as a friend or being single were never reasons to skip a trip. So I’ve frequently traveled alone, with zero regrets and scores of incredible memories. But I have always craved the possibility of a travel community without having to compromise the style of trip I love. Especially after having travel temporarily taken away from us, why wait for the perfect timing or travel buddy to take the trip you’re dreaming of?
So, now there is Stellavision, to offer you the best of it all. You don’t need us to find the Colosseum, we’re here to show you Italy’s cultural pulse. To share the unmarked beaches and underground wine bars with you. Stellavision is about connection; we want to celebrate and introduce you to the smart, cool, kind and independent women who love to travel in the same style as you do.
